Maddikera is situated to the extreme south
of Pattikonda Taluk and is a railway station on the Guntakal-Vijayawada
section of the South Central Railway. 'Maddikera' derived its name
from the temple of 'Maddamma'.
Time For The Festivity
The car festival of Vanamalleswaraswamy conducted during January-February
attracts a large congregation of about 10,000 devotees.
