Jogammagudem is situated at a distance of
5-km from Raikal (Rawikol) on the
Hyderabad -Mahboobnagar
bus route and 11-km from Shadnagar railway station on the Secunderabad-
Dronachellam section of the South Central railway.
The village is considered as 'Uttara Rameshwaram' on account of the
existence of a big pond occupying an area of about 1,674-sq-m and a huge
'Shivalingam' believed to be the biggest in India.
Time For The Festivity
The shrine at the place is known as Ramalingeswara whose festival,
celebrated for 11 days during January-February, is attended by thousands
of Hindu devotees.
