In Kurnool
district of Andhra Pradesh, there are some
ancient temples at a place like 'Prathama Nandi' and 'Krishna Nandi'. The
most important festival here is that of Krishna Nandi celebrated during
January-February. This shrine is one of the "Navanandis" in the
neighbourhood of Mahanandi and Nandyal.

and Maharashtra
