Nandavaram is situated at a distance of 8-km
from Panem, which has a railway station. The village derived its
importance from the temple of 'Chowdeswari Devi' and is associated with "Nandana
Chakravarti", the son of 'Uttungabhoja' of the 'Pandava' race.
