Bontapalle is situated at a distance of
16-km from Narsapur, Medak district. Medchal is the nearest railway
station. Bontapalle is famous for the temple of Veerabhadra.
The presiding deity at this pilgrim centre is made up of stone with four
hands each holding a sword, drum, trident and an arrow.
Time For The Festivity
The festival of Veerabhadra celebrated for eight days during February-
March draws a large number of pilgrims even from
Hyderabad .
