Andhra
Pradesh is an important and picturesque province in India comprising
of interesting rock formations, many lakes
and low hills. The deltas of the Godavari and Krishna are very wide and
form a lake in between, called the
'Kolleru Lake', the
largest fresh water Lake in the country. In the heart of

famous Hussain Sagar,

Nizamsagar is a huge reservoir constructed across the Manjira River and
this place is known for its scenic beauty. The other famous little
'cheruvus' (lakes) of Andhra Pradesh include the
Khambham Lake in
Rajahmundry,
Pakhal Lake in
Warangal, and the
Pulicat Lake in
Nellore.
