Andhra Pradesh has several museums, including the Salar Jung Museum, the largest one-man collection in the world featuring a varied collection of sculptures, paintings, and religious artefacts. The Archaeological Museum in Hyderabad features Buddhist and Hindu sculptures and other antiques. The famous Nagarjunakonda Museum has stone-age picks, hoes, spears, sculptures of women and statues of Buddha. Archaeological Museum at Amaravati is small, but the exhibits of the museum are fascinating. Kolanupaka Site Museum is of great help to the research scholars who are researching on sculpture and calligraphy of both Chalukyan and Kakatiyan periods.
