Joginatha Temple is located at Jogipet,
38-km from Medak. Of the temples at the place, the temple of Joginatha is
the most worshipped. The peculiarity of the temple is that both Shiva and
his consort Parvati stand side by side in the form of Lingams (Symbols of
Shiva) without Panivattam (pedestal).
The Joginatha festival is celebrated here for 11 days during March-April
attracts thousands of people from all parts of the state.
Road: Jogipet is at a distance of 38-km from Medak and 86-km from Hyderabad . Tourists can hire a taxi or go by the buses run by State government from Medak or Hyderabad.
