Shamirpet Deer Park is located in Bolaram
Cantonment, 27-km from Secunderabad, on
Karimnagar Highway. It is an
ideal picnic spot, which houses a lake and a Deer Park. It presents a
picture of thick vegetation, which is very pleasing to the eyes.
A
thin stream flowing over a bed of huge rocks is an added attraction. There
are many privately run dhabas offering excellent Punjabi cuisine. The park
is open to visitors from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Road: Tourists can access this place from Hyderabad . One can take buses run by State Road Transport Corporation, private operators, and taxis.
