Dances predict the joyful and merry way of living of Arunachal tribals. The dance styles differ from the dramatic monastic dances of Buddhists to the dancing steps inspired by the ancient martial art, performed by the Noctes and Wanchos. The dance performances of the Adis basically serve the purpose of entertainment and the major dance attraction of this tribe is Ponung dance, performed by a team of young girls.
