Religion is having quite an impact in India and Gujarat is one those states where religion is a part of life. Every activity, cultural event or festival is a religious event or related to it. The major religions in this state are Hinduism, Jainism, Islam and Buddhism. Still another religion that made quite an impact in India is Zoroastrian. Parsis who are the followers of this religion have become as much part of Gujarat's cultural heritage as much as the Zoroastrian religion.
