Bhadreshwar Temple is believed to have been built over the
ruins of the ancient city of Bhadravati. It is a famous Jain pilgrimage
centre. The temple is constructed in such a way that the temple deity is
visible from both the ground and the first floors. The temple offers a
view of 24 Jain Tirthankaras seated in a meditative pose.
Other local places worth visiting include an ancient step-well, the Sol
Thambhi Masjid, Jagdu Shah's Palace, the mosque of Lal Shahbar and the
temple of Chokunda Mahadev.
