Haryana has turned out to be an archaeologist's paradise, with the recent excavations leading to the rewriting of a 5,000-year-old history. The excavations at Rakhi Garhi, Agroha, Banawali and Kunal carry a lot of significance. Three mounds from the Harappan period can be found in Banawali, Kunal and Agroha.
