Fatehabad is an old historical town that was founded by the
Afghan ruler, FerozeS Shah Tughlaq in 1352 AD. He named it Fatehabad after
his son, Fateh Khan.
From the area, ruins of the ancient town of Agroha, where Emperor Ashok
has a stone edict set up, have also been unearthed. Firoz Shah Tughlaq had
a Fort built in the area and a canal dug to bring water to the region.
