Tilyar
Lake came into existence in 1976 within an area of 132 acres. The lake
forms an integral part of the set up, making it one of the greenest
stretches one can imagine. It lies close to Rohtak town.
The tourist complex is splendid and large, and has varied tourist
facilities. Tilyar Lake, a large lake attracts boating enthusiasts. There
are guestrooms, restaurant, bar and a mini zoo for patrons. Tilyar
attracts crowds of holidaymakers on weekends and holidays. Adventure sport
facilities for kayaking and boating are available.
Facilities: Resthouse, green maze, ice- cream parlour, restaurant,
bar, gift shop, boating, angling, children's park, a filling station and a
mini zoo.
