The main rivers that flow through the state of haryana are River Yamuna and river Ghaggar. Yamuna flows along its eastern boundary while Ghaggar, the main seasonal river, rises up in the outer Himalayas between the Yamuna and the Sutluj and enters Haryana near Pinjore.
