Jawalamukhi or "the flaming goddess" is one of the most famous pilgrimage centres in Himachal's Kangra district. The burning flame housed inside the temple is supposed to be manifestation of the goddess Jawalaji. Also visit Baijnath, another pilgrimage famous for its Baijnath and Siddhanatha Temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Masrur is merits a visit for its 8th century, Shikhra, spire-roofed style temples. Known as Monolithic rock temples, these 15 rock-cut temples are richly carved and built in Indo-Aryan architectural style. Do visit Manikaran, a place sacred for both Hindus and Sikhs is basically famous for its Hot Sulphur Spings. Renuka is the most important place for tourists in Sirmour district comprising of a sacred and picturesque lake dedicated to goddess Renuka. Paonta Sahib is a holy city that was established in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Guru of the Sikhs. It is distinguished by its association with the Sikhs and attracts thousands of them during the spring festivals of Baisakhi and Holi .
