Lushed with loft peaks and snow clad mountains and glaciers, the state of Himachal has got numerous natural as well as man made lakes, reservoirs, streams and rivers. The abundance of water brings with it tremendous amount of oppurtunities for water sports lovers to plunge and explore its depths. The most common water sports that one can enjoy in the state are River Rafting and Angling. The Chandrabhaga in Lahaul, the Satluj near Shimla , the Ravi near Chamba and the Beas near Kullu rivers offer immense white water rafting possibilities. The Trout Fishing Hachery at Chirgaon and valleys of Sangla and Pabbar offer some of the best angling oppurtunities.
