lake- system of India has been classified into the Himalayan, peninsular,
coastal, and inland-drainage system developing from the great river basins
of India.
The Ganga River is India's largest river basin that spread with its
tributaries to almost 25 percent of the nation's area including Himalayas
in the north and the Vindhya Range in the south. The lakes have their font
in the glaciers of the Greater Himalayas.

lakes-Ranchi Lake and Topchanchi Lake- are two famous lakes of Jharkhand
that makes the state as the tourist destination round the year. The lakes

the blue waters of the lake. The turbulent waters of these lakes, gushing
