The Krishna Raja Sagar dam is one of the
earliest dams built in 1932 AD by the renowned engineer statesman, Sir M.
Visvesharaya during the reign of Krishna Raja Wodeyar.
It was a lavish project and the world famous Vrindavan gardens on the
terrace of the Dam, across the river Cauvery is very meticulously planned.
