Tipu's Drop, situated in Nandi Hills is a
600m high cliff face. Accordong to local belief, the condemned prisoners
were pushed to their death.
On misty days when the wind wails in the trees, one can almost hear the
blood-curdling screams of the prisoners as they met their gruesome end.
The high altitude cliff affords a magnificent view of the city from its
top. The view is truly inspiring when one looks down on a clear day.
