Nestled amidst the Karapur forest in the
southern part of Nagarhole lies a pristine piece of land that abounds with
nature beckoning you to explore it for a wild exciting holiday. Kabini, a
scenic delight, was once the hunting lodge of the erstwhile Mysore
Maharajas. The steep valleys with rich forests, spectacular pools and
rapid provide an ideal opportunity to revive your adventurous spirits.
The Wild Population
A walk through the forest affords one the view of the ferocious tiger,
the graceful elephant and the jumping antelopes. Deer, Bison, Tiger,
Egret, Cormorant, Stork, Python, Cobra, Tortoise and Crocodile are some of
the wild inhabitants of the region.
Shooting The Wild
A view from the Kabini River Lodge proves to be absolutely breathtaking.
Patches of bright blue pools hidden between the trees, the sun peeping
through the thick forest and animals roaming free are just some of the
visual delights of this forest.
If you can brave the ferocious beauty, you could even take a walk through
the forest. Breathe in the refreshing air, whistle with the wind and carry
home timeless memories. Elephant playing in the water, leopards on the
