Velneshwar is a small village, North of Shastri River, which
is famous for the beautiful and clean beach around fringed with serene
coconut palm groves and the rock-free seawater. The beach is ideal for
swimming or just lolling around.
Water sports are the favourite tourist activity carried on here. There is
an old Shiva Temple, which is frequently visited by tourists and pilgrims.
The whole place has a mystic aura around in the presence of the master
mystic, Lord Shiva.
Rail:There is a railway station at Chiplun.
Road: Tourists can travel by road from Mumbai via Chiplun and
Guhagar, 370-km away.
