Guru Nanak Darbar is located in Pimpri, a town near
Pune . The day in
this Darbar starts with the Puja and Kirtans in the morning at about 5:30
am. Devotees from different communities come here on every Thursday, as it
is a momentous day.
On Thursdays a special Bhandara program is observed in the evening
between 7.30 and 9.00 pm. There are about 250 Sikh families in this area
and nearly 1,000 to 1,500 people gather on this day to take part in the
Bhandara program.
Pimpri is a town close to Pune. Tourists can easily access it from Pune, which is well connected by air, rail and road. Taxis are used for local transportation.
