Jai Jawan Nagar Gurdwara is located in Jai Jawan Nagar in
Yerwada Tehsil in Pune
city . There are about 100 Sikh families in this area and these
people along with their families gather in the Gurdwara every Tuesday.
A Satsang is observed every Tuesday. Guru Nanak Jayanthi, Baisakhi and
Guru Tegh Bahadur Jayanthi are the three significant days that are
celebrated on a grand scale in this Gurdwara. A religious procession is
arranged early in the morning on the Sankranti day.
Yerwada is a town close in Pune. Tourists can easily access it from Pune, which is well connected by road, rail and air. Taxis are used for local transportation.
