One can see the monuments of Sant Sopandev - brother of Sant Dnyaneshwar, Shrimant Balaji Vishwnath Peshwer - founder of Peshwas, Baji Pasalkar - famous Maratha Sardar and Acharya P.K. Atre - famous Marathi Writer. </P> <H2>Other Attractions</H2> <P CLASS="txt"> In Saswad, there are many places that can be visited. These monuments are Diveghat, The Mastani Lake near Diveghat, Jadhavgadhi and Sonori Village - famous for temples, Sangameshwar temple and Malhargad fort nearby is worth to see. Malhargadh fort is the last fort built by Marathas. <BR> <BR> Saswad is a newly developing industrial zone.
