Kapaleshwar Temple situated at Nasik in Maharashtra is said to be the oldest temple in Nasik. It lies on the bank of river Godavari near Ramkund. Usually every Mahadeva temple has a Nandi (the vehicle of Lord Shiva) but the peculiar feature of this temple is it does not have Nandi. This unique feature makes the temple worth a visit.
