Panshet Dam, about 43-km away from
Pune
offers a holiday option that is quite different from other spots in
Maharashtra. Developed by MTDC this resort is packed
with various thrilling water-sports. Panshet dam was built in late 50's
and it is one of the popular places near Pune for picnic lovers.
There is a water sports complex where water sports like Kayaking,
windsurfing, exciting rides in speedboats and on water scooters are
available. It is an ideal place to the visitors belonging to all age
groups, the only common feature being a love for sports. One can also can
visit Sinhagad fort and Sinhagad National Park, Khadakvasla and the forts
