Nagaland is a hilly state with Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam to the north, Manipur to its south, Assam to its west and Myanmar to its east. Mostly inhabited by tribal inhabitants this state offers a rich incomparable traditional and cultural heritage. The distinctive character and identity of each tribe in terms of tradition, custom, language and dresses is clearly discernible to a visitor. The respective tribal festivals are celebrated at regular interval all over the state. Beside the tribes, Nagaland also has hills, valleys, streams and gorges in plenty.
