The hill Gandhamardan enshrines Nrusimhanath on its northern
slope in the district of Bargarh while on the southern slope is Harisankar
in Balangir district.
To walk over the hilltop from Harisankar to Nrusimhanath and vice-a-versa
distance of 16-km through the glories of nature and culture is an
experience by itself. It is said to be the seat of a Buddhist University
called Po-Lo-Mo-Lo-Ki-Ii by Huien Isang.
