Tamil Nadu is a wonderful tourist place. It has
glorious culture and a rich tapestry of history. Tamil Nadu has had its
lots of turmoil and turbulence in its history and is the oldest and the
most classical of the
Southern
states , which has a long and varied history from the proud Cholas
and Pallavas and later on French and the British. The massive forts have
left their distinctive imprints. The most important of them are the
Vellore Fort, Gingee Fort, Fort St. George etc.
