Dolphin City and Little Folks are two great amusement
complexes situated on the East Coast Road (New
Mahabalipuram Road), 46-km
from Mahabalipuram,
Tamil Nadu. These amusement parks offer a wide range of
entertainment like the Giant-Piano, Toy Train, Rainbow Fountain,
Slide-into-pool, Cartoon show and Paddle-Pool as well as an open-air
theatre.
Both these amusement parks are under the same management and Little Folks
is the forerunner of Dolphin City and is located just opposite to it.
Little Folks is exclusively for children having several interesting
features to attract little children. Many of the schools take the younger
students to Little Folks for their annual excursions.
Dolphin City offers performance by American sea Lions. Trained in the US,
these sea lions play basketball, volleyball, do balancing acts, clap their
fins and are extremely friendly and so if you want to you could get up
close to them.

Leisure activities in Dolphin City and Little Folks include - American
Sea Lion performance (First of its kind in India), Under Water View,
Leisure Boating, Slide Swimming pool, Open Air Theatre for variety
entertainment, Chuck Wagon, Disco Scooter, Tea Cup, Space Ship, Dragon
Ride, Chuck Chuck, Animal Simulator, etc.

Weekdays: 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.
Sundays and holidays: 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Strictly Prohibited: Food from outside, snacks, beverages,
smoking, alcohol, drugs, pan, chewing gum, pets and tripods (Camera stand)
inside the park.
Air: Chennai has an airport with both domestic and
international terminals. Regular flights connect
Chennai with the
major cities within the country and also with countries like USA,
Singapore, U.K, etc.
Rail: Chennai
station is the nearest railway station, which is well connected by rail
with the important towns and cities within and beyond the state. The
railway station at Chengalpattu (29-km away from Mahabalipuram) is also
close by and trains for Chennai and several other major cities in South
India are available from here.
Road: Government and private buses are available from
Chennai and
Mahabalipuram to these
amusement parks.
