35 kms south of Chennai
lies Muttukadu. It is an ideal location for windsurfing. TTDC and other
operator's provide necessary sails and windsurfing equipments to try
surfing on backwaters. Good boating facilities are provided by TTDC. Plans
to provide, water scooters and other aqua-sports are also on the anvil.
Nearby is the MGM "Dizzee World" beach resort, a children's
amusement park with unique water sports. Spread over an area of 27 acres,
it is a perfect place to s pend a day with your family. It is well known
for its water sports and rides like Water Ride, Kamakasi Ranger, Arrow
Loop Roller Coaster, Dashing Boat and 110 feet "Dizee Shake".
The park is open from 10.30 am to 9.00 pm.
Further down is the Crocodile
Bank where a large variety of reptiles are bred. The crocodiles are
left in their natural surroundings in huge open pools here.
