Near the Wingfield Park in Lucknow , stands the Christ Church designed by General Hutchinson. A memorial to those who died in the mutiny this church was enlarged and improved in 1904. It contains many fascinating memorial tablets and brasses. The cross on the spire was twisted by an earthquake in 1933.
