The picturesque municipal garden is situated in the midst of
bamboo and deodar trees in the west, only 4 kms from the city hubub. The
municipal or the Company gardens was previously (before independence) was
also known as Botanical gardens of Mussoorie.
Famous geologist, Dr. H. Fackner, laid these gardens in the last century.
The gardens are beautifully laid and provide a perfect respite from the
hustle and bustle of the city.
There is a children amusement park, an artificial pond for boating and
ample opportunity for photography as the place has a variety of beautiful
flowers.
Taxis, horses and rickshaws are available to reach there.
